Calling on all the shrines of Our Lady of Fatima around the world, Father Andrzej Draws, rector of the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Fatima in Krisovychi (western Ukraine), encouraged prayer on March 13, 2022 for the conversion of Russia.[i] In solidarity with the suffering people of the Ukraine, many of the Sisters who live at the Motherhouse in Alma, Michigan or work at Sacred Heart Mercy Health Care Center, joined together in the chapel to pray for peace and for the conversion of Russia before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and with the image of our Lady of Fatima.
Come and Pray at Sacred Heart Mercy Health Care Center
Following this beautiful experience in our own chapel, we would like to invite to our clinic chapel anyone who would like to come and pray for peace or even for their own needs and intentions.
The clinic is open for visitors to the chapel Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM.
The bishops of Ukraine have asked the Holy Father to consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Although Russia was already consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Pope Saint John Paul II, on March 25, 2022, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, Pope Francis will consecrate Russia and the Ukraine.[ii]

conquer the menace of evil, which so easily takes root in the hearts of the people of today
Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Oh, Immaculate Heart! Help us to conquer the menace of evil, which so easily takes root in the hearts of the people of today, and whose immeasurable effects already weigh down upon our modern world and seem to block the paths towards the future!
From famine and war, deliver us.
From nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction, from every kind of war, deliver us.
From sins against the life of man from its very beginning, deliver us.
From hatred and from the demeaning of the dignity of the children of God, deliver us.
From every kind of injustice in the life of society, both national and international, deliver us.
From readiness to trample on the commandments of God, deliver us.
From sins against the Holy Spirit, deliver us, deliver us.
Accept, O Mother of Christ, this cry laden with the sufferings of all individual human beings, laden with the sufferings of whole societies.
Let there be revealed once more in the history of the world the infinite power of merciful Love. May it put a stop to evil. May it transform consciences. May your Immaculate Heart reveal for all the light of hope! Amen.[iv]
