While there have been some who have gotten so tired of the different measures employed to help protect the population from encountering COVID-19, such as avoidance of public gatherings in various forms and mask wearing, that they are willing to get it just to get it over with, there are good reasons to plan to get your antibodies through vaccination. - Antibodies produced in the body from being sick from corona viruses typically are not permanent or as long lasting as those that come from vaccination
- It can be hard to predict who is going to have a severe illness from COVID-19
- There appear to be long-term effects on the body from having had COVID-19[i]
